Laure Stemmann, a graduate in philosophy and cinema, worked on international and award-winning films at Eaux Vives Productions (Paris) and Anga Productions (Brussels). After graduating from INSAS, she worked as a film development consultant in Europe, then as a festival programmer at Metropolis Cinéma in Lebanon.
Lucas Stephanik, a law graduate, worked in legal and business affairs at Quad Films (Paris) before pursuing film production at INSAS. He has worked in Brussels with Artemis Productions, Umedia Production and more recently with Beluga Tree / Caviar Brussels, contributing to films and series in Belgium for a global vision.
They founded Specimen Films in January 2024.
Laure Stemmann
After a double degree in philosophy and cinema at the
University of Paris, Laure Stemmann worked at Eaux Vives Productions (Paris) on international productions such as Emily Atef’s Plus Que Jamais (75 th Cannes Films) and the latest films by Paz Encina, Nabil Ayouch and Maryam Touzani. With a master’s degree in film production from INSAS, she moved to Belgium to strengthen her experience in European co-production and distribution at Anga Productions and continued as a development consultant in France, Belgium and Middle East. In 2023, she is organizing the 28th European Film Festival with Metropolis Cinéma in Lebanon and then joined Anga Productions again as development manager for their films, as well as being producer for Specimen Films.

Lucas Stephanik
Lucas Stephanik, who has a degree in private law from the Université Panthéon-Assas, first experiences in the legal and business affairs department of the production company Quad Films in Paris before following the creation of several projects (films, documentaries, series). He did a master’s degree in film production at INSAS and continued his experience at Artemis Productions in Belgium. With the desire to work alongside film crew, he became production assistant for several Belgian project. Closer to the shoot, he worked as location manager and production manager for projects in France and Belgium. At Umedia, he trained in Tax Shelter for European Coproductions. In parallel, early 2024, he joined the group Caviar in Brussels and works for Beluga Tree in executive production.
